Crossroads - Caring for Carers
Promotes, offers and delivers high-quality services for carers and others. It provides practical help by offering a trained care attendant to take the place of the regular family carer to reduce the stress of caring and give carers some respite.
Deafchild UK
The children's section or Deafax. Deafchild UK works with deaf children, their parents, teachers, researchers, deaf adults and others to identify, promote and implement solutions mainly in the area of information and communications technology (ICT).
Down's Syndrome Association
Provides information, counselling and support for people with Down's Syndrome, their families and Carers, as well as being a resource for interested Professionals.
Family Fund
An independent organisation funded by government administrations of England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales. The Fund can give grants and information to families caring for a severely disabled or seriously ill child under 16.
