Disabled Child – Aquarium Trip **FULLY BOOKED**
Tuesday 22nd October 2019
10:00 am - 12:30 pm
National Marine Aquarium
**This activity is for children/young people with additional needs to attend with a parent/carer (2 if required). Siblings are unable to attend this activity**
Join us for a morning of discovery at the National Marine Aquarium. We will have 2 hours of fun, interactive sessions run by the National Marine Aquariums SEN team where you can explore the underwater world and it’s creatures. This will include some drawing, crafting, musical instruments and virtual reality headsets.
Please meet us at 10am for a 10.30 start. The session will run for 2 hours until 12.30pm after which you are free to have your lunch and explore the aquarium at your leisure.
There is a cafe at the aquarium where you can purchase food and drink. We will be based in their learning rooms which are “behind the scenes” and will be accessing the main rooms as part of the session. The aquarium is fully accessible for wheelchairs, however unfortunately there is no changing places facility, only a standard disabled toilet.
Price for this activity is £5 per child. Please only book a space for the child, parents/ carers are not charged.
This event is fully booked.
