****** This is a Making Sense activity for children and young adults with profound & multiple disabilities, if you are unsure if this activity is suitable for you please ring the office on (01752) 204369. ******
Join us at I Love Nature, a rural outdoor site dedicated to providing activities and experiences with the natural world. We are working alongside The Sensory Trust to run this accessible outdoor activity for our families to enjoy.
There will be a range of nature activities to try at your own pace – nature masks, texture cards, & texture rubbing, meet the animals, bread making and lots more. All activities are fully inclusive and fun.
There will be vegan stew/soup and bread rolls on offer for lunch or you are welcome to bring along a picnic. The site is in the countryside so please wear good footwear and sensible clothes for the weather. The paths we will be using are wheelchair accessible. You will be outside for the majority of the day, the site is in the countryside and therefore can get muddy if it has been wet so be prepared to get muddy feet and wheels! There is a barn on site and we have options available for all weather eventualities!
The site has a converted horse box accessible toilet and there is a stable that houses a changing table and hoist. If you require any more specific information please feel free to get in touch.
This is an event for the whole family that will take place in a welcoming inclusive environment. The cost is £5 per family, please just book 1 space.
