Youth Adventures

Youth Adventures is a group for young people aged 14 – 25, with a disability, to socialize with other young people in a safe environment, promoting independence and fun! You may want to gain confidence in going out with a group of people, or to gain some new life skills as you get a bit older. Or just to be in a safe space where you can chill out with other young people!

We offer a range of activities including drop in youth nights, visits to sports matches, day trips, workshops and so much more. It is an opportunity to make friends, learn skills and try something new!

Here is what some of our Youth Adventurers quotes from this year;

Josh “Youth Adventures has helped me make new friends and I just enjoy being here – I really liked the Fifa night”

Jack “I enjoy not having to limit what I say, I feel free and I know that people will talk back to me”

Jude “I like coming to Youth Adventures because there are people that I get on with”

As part of gaining independence, we would like our Youth Adventures group to have input into organising our activities, so if there is something you would like to do then please let us know.

Joining Youth Adventures is FREE and all of our activities are heavily subsidised.

We meet once a month on a Friday evening or Saturday daytime, and once a week during school holidays. All of our sessions are staffed on a one to one basis, so there will always be someone there to support and listen to you.
